Postpartum Night Doula

Nurturing Nighttime Care for You and Your Baby: Compassionate Postpartum Doula Support

In the delicate postpartum period, I offer trusted and compassionate nighttime care to help you and your baby adjust to life at home. With my experience and gentle guidance, you can focus on bonding with your newborn and caring for yourself, while I support you through the challenges of newborn care. Whether you’ve just come home from the hospital or need last-minute help, my goal is to help your family rest, recover, and thrive. Let’s create a care plan that gives you the peace of mind and rest you deserve.

Hands-On Breastfeeding & Feeding support

The first month postpartum is crucial for both you and your baby as you adjust to breastfeeding. While a drop-in lactation consultation is incredibly helpful, having ongoing expert support makes a world of difference. It's during this time that both you and your baby learn the essential skills of breastfeeding, and it’s when establishing a healthy milk supply becomes vital. Having consistent guidance ensures that any challenges are addressed right away, helping you feel confident and empowered in feeding your baby.

Sleep Guidance for Your New Born

Newborn sleep patterns can be tricky, and I’ll educate you on recognizing sleep cues, establishing healthy rhythms, and preparing for changes that come as your baby grows. During those early weeks, I introduce healthy sleep practices that lay the foundation for your baby to become an independent sleeper over time. By starting early, you’re setting up a future where your baby can sleep independently with confidence, making the whole process more natural and less stressful.

Ongoing Daytime Support

My care doesn’t stop when the sun rises. I stay in touch throughout the day, offering guidance and answering any questions that may come up. This means you’ll feel supported and confident, even when I’m not physically with you.

How My Services Work:

  • I typically start working with families right after they arrive home from the hospital, though I can also accommodate last-minute requests, if my schedule allows.

  • My services are available for 2-12 weeks after birth, for 2-5 nights weekly, depending on my availability.

  • With my support, you’ll receive comprehensive care for both nighttime rest and daytime guidance, ensuring you and your baby are on the right track.

Steps to Begin:

I understand how challenging those early weeks can be, and my goal is to support you and your baby when you most need it. My services tend to fill up quickly, so booking in advance is the best way to ensure we can work together. Let’s connect and plan a care schedule that brings you peace of mind and much-needed rest.

  1. Check My Availability: Reach out to inquire about my availability and rates. I recommend contacting me early to ensure a spot on my schedule.

  2. Initial Introduction Call: Once we confirm availability, we can arrange a video call, up to 1 hour, where I’ll explain my night doula services in detail and answer any questions you might have.

  3. Securing Your Booking: Should you choose to book my services, we’ll sign an agreement and a deposit will secure my availability for your chosen dates.

  4. Ongoing Communication: I stay in touch during the weeks leading up to your baby’s birth, ensuring any updates or changes are taken into account. If your baby arrives early, I will do my best to accommodate your needs or connect you with a trusted backup.
